STS4-ALPT Automatic Load Position Tracker

Overview

The newly designed Automatic Load Position Tracker (STS-ALPT) uses an accurate industrial encoder attached to two small wheels that is then mounted to the testing vehicle. The STS-ALPT wirelessly sends linear position data back to the STS-ALPT receiver unit, which is connected to a STS4 Base Station. The STS-ALPT is powered by a LI-Ion battery and is designed to operate in rugged field testing environments.
This item is critical in load testing applications where the data collected will be used to calibrate a finite element model of the structure.
