BDI Awarded Colorado DOT Statewide Program-Specific Contract

(BDI) is proud to announce our selection for the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) 2025 Statewide Program-Specific Contract for Bridge Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Pin Inspections, Average Daily Traffic (ADT) Counts, Scour Evaluations, and Load Rating Engineering Services.

This multi-faceted contract highlights CDOT’s continued commitment to advancing the condition assessment and safety of critical transportation infrastructure across the state—and reinforces BDI’s longstanding reputation as a trusted leader in bridge evaluation, structural monitoring, and nondestructive evaluation (NDE) services.

As a firm experienced in delivering program level contracts for specialized services, BDI will support CDOT with expert services including:

  • Ultrasonic Testing & Pin/Hanger Inspections using advanced UT and PAUT techniques to evaluate fracture-critical connections.
  • Bridge Load Ratings using current applicable software approaches and engaging our specialized load rating capabilities as required.
  • Scour & Risk Assessments integrating hydrologic data and site-specific analysis.
  • Traffic Data Collection for comprehensive asset performance and lifecycle modeling.
