For over 20 years, BDI’s Pavement Instrumentation Design Engineers have worked with the Pavement Research Industry to advance pavement performance monitoring technology. Working with leading Accelerated Test Pavement facilities, Universities, and state DOTs, we have developed a full line of pavement sensors, verified installation procedures, and designed both remote and track-side dynamic data acquisition systems to autonomously trigger data collection and processing.
PAVEMENT
WHAT WE DO ON PAVEMENT
BDI provides instrumentation and services for pavement performance evaluation by providing sensors, monitoring systems and nondestructive evaluation services to help understand pavement performance and under lying support conditions. This service is provided to Accelerated Pavement Test (APT) facilities, construction road and airport projects and in-service roads where existing conditions may need repairs and/or rehabilitation.
